†$195/hour in New South Wales & ACT. $170/hour in all other Australian states and territories. Average consultation lasts 60-90 minutes. Please note, body corporate and commercial jobs attract a higher rate.

Selecting the perfect palette for your project is a big job. And sometimes there’s no substitute for an onsite visit by a qualified professional to review your project in person. A Dulux Designer will visit your home to discuss unique light conditions and how best to harmonise with the right colour scheme and finishing options. This service is perfect for Australian full-house repaints, renovations and new builds.

We’ll match you with a qualified Dulux Designer in your area, who will contact you for a chat about your project and arrange a convenient time to visit.

In-home consultation

Your designer comes to you to discuss your project in person. Together you walk through the unique light, colour and textural aspects of your space while adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Personalised Colour Specification

You receive a comprehensive Dulux Colour and Product Specification document. So whether you’re partnering with a professional painter or doing it yourself, you’ll have the details to get the job done.

      • Full Dulux Colour and Product Specification, containing everything you need to start painting

      • Up to 10 physical A4 colour swatches. Real colour, delivered safely.

* Up to A$100 cashback per voucher per in-home consultation, calculated at A$1/L on a single Dulux-branded paint purchase at any store Australia-wide. Proof of purchase required. If a painter is purchasing your Dulux-branded paint, a letter or receipt from the painter must include name and quantity of product and store purchased. Each voucher is valid for 12 months from the date issued and is not transferable.

Please note, when looking at colours online, images and swatches may not represent the true colour. Always check your colours with A4 Colour Swatches and confirm your final colour choice with Dulux Sample Pots. Only Dulux products are formulated for tinting to the exact Dulux colour you select.

All Dulux Designers conducting in-home consultations adhere to government health regulations and observe strict safety protocols. These include:

    • Covid vaccination and public health safeguards in line with government regulations
    • Social distancing and wearing a mask in accordance with regulations and space considerations
    • Ensuring full health prior to accepting any jobs
    • Confirming prior to the consultation that you and everyone living at your property are in full health
    • Best practice hygiene, including washing hands regularly, carrying sanitiser at all times and cleaning colour collateral and personal technology
    • All physical colour samples are packed hygienically at the Dulux Colour Centre and mailed to your door via contactless delivery
